Encoding frame limit
...great for up to 53 frames, and I see no reason why more shouldn't work fine. So, am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug, or should the library be enhanced to auto-resize the internal bits buffer (or at least return a pretty error code) rather than blindly overwriting it? Thanks! Speex rox! -david

Mandrake 9.0: rpcclient problem exporting printers to samba for windows
I am new to CUPS, after working for 4 days to get printing from WinNT to Mandrake 9.0, I give up. Here is the problem: the /etc/samba/smb.conf is setup with [printers] and [print$]. I copy the postscript drivers from adobe. I then tried to export a printer to samba with the following command cupsaddsmb -v -U dwoody canon It did all of the commands successfully except for the last one. which

Information setting up asterisk with an ISDN NT
Hi Folks, First of all, I've been reading a lot and a lot about asterisk and ISDN-BRI, but is really a complicated world, not like PRI or Analog. I have 2 offices with 2 NT boxes and I want to connect them with Asterisk to route outgoing from one office two the other. At the end I want them to look like this Office2 will have only VoIP phones (not ISDN phones connected to a card in asterisk)

Problem with R --gui=GNOME when launched from a menu system
A Debian user filed a bug report the details of which are at http://bugs.debian.org/269107 I can replicate his problem: the R/Gnome entry that is made available to the various window managers fails. A window pops, and exists. As far as I can tell, the menuing system does not have a problem with shell script wrapper. Environment variables like PATH, DISPLAY etc should be set too. So the best

I have a location using a CentOS 5 server that's multihomed running Asterisk and iptables for internal web access. Recently some sales people got busted surfing some explicit content so the owner wants something in there to block this. I had heard of Dans Guardian and am reading about what's involved here but just wanted an opinion on what's the best solution for this. NTLM silent

"Device or Resource Busy" when deleting folders
...functions work - I can create files, directories etc, even delete files quite happily, but renaming files can cause problems (since some file managers attempt to re-set permissions), and deleting folders is an impossibility. (SOME file managers WILL delete folders quite happily - for example ROX-Filer works nicely, but generally the ones that work are the simpler ones. The more complex file managers such as konqueror cause problems, as does OpenOffice (when in an open file dialog, and right-click-deleting)) I tried fixing the permissions errors with the "quiet" flag on the smb...
