There are a bunch of us working on LLVM in Austin. So we're organizing a LLVM Austin Social in September. The social will be on Wednesday, September 12 from 5 pm at the BB Rovers Cafe and Pub. It'll be great to meet up with folks in Austin who are also interested in LLVM. Please reply and let me know if you plan on attending so that I can get a count. BB Rovers is on Jollyville road just north of Duval: 12171 Jollyville Rd., Austin TX. Their website is: http://www.b...

Sernet 4.3.X package is no longer free :/
Maurik, You are right. I am currently using 4.1.17 and have the same failed login messages as you describe. There is, however, a bit more information further down in the logfile: [2015/10/07 16:51:24.076283, 2] authentication for user [HPRS/Administrator] FAILED with error NT_STATUS_WRONG_PASSWORD auth_check_password_send: Checking password for unmapped user [HPRS]\[Administrator]@[ROVER]

Need IP on failed logins in logfile
I used to also get related log messages of the form: auth_check_password_send: Checking password for unmapped user [HPRS]\[mark]@[ROVER] auth_check_password_send: mapped user is: [HPRS]\[mark]@[ROVER] but now all I get is the auth_check_password_recv in the log. Perhaps the change is due to an upgrade to Samba, or perhaps a change I made to my smb.conf log options? (see log config in my

Documentation for generate controller
I can find the API documentation, but where is the documentation for the standard generators. The wiki has 3rd party generators- but I want to know specifically what generate controller does, and how it differs from generate scaffold, and what other generators there are. Where is this succinctly documented? -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

rsync is concatenating the files together
I am seeing a really odd problem with Rsync 2.6.2 and 2.6.3. I am trying to rsync a directory containing some 2gb files from a Solaris 9 NFS server to a Solaris 10b69 NFS client. Rsync is running on the Solaris 10 client. Here is the source directory as seen from the client: Source directory: -rwxr--r-- 1 root priv 1270666114 Jan 3 2004 FLY.GHO* -rwxr--r-- 1 root priv

I tried creating the logfile /var/log/samba/.log.samba.%m and restart samba. What it did was immediately create separate log files for each currently attached workstation:

Sonos 2.8 Install Fails/Succeeds on Unbuntu 9.04 Wine 1.1.22
I have successfully installed Sonos 2.8 using Ubuntu 9.04 and Wine 1.1.22 on my wireless Dell Inspiron laptop and an old dual boot Dell Dimension desktop. The Sonos Desktop Controller software was installed on the dual boot Unbuntu side as well as the Windows XP Pro side. Software works fine on both machines. However when I try to install Sonos 2.8 on my primary wired Dell XPS desktop, the

help me understand migrations movie
I''m somewhat of a newbie - played with recent versions of rails a few mths ago, but have decided to start from scratch with 1.0. I want to build my new db as much as possible with migrations, so I watched DHH''s migrations movie from rubyonrails.org. A few things confuse me: 1. He generates the model ("post") before running rake db_schema_dump. Is that necessary or

LLVM Social in Austin - Nov. 15?
Hi everyone, There seems to be a good level of interest in this; so we should settle on a time and location. It has been pointed out that previous socials were held at http://bbrovers.com/ - we seem to have a preference for the availability of alcoholic beverages, and otherwise no strong opinions have been expressed. Logistically, we should pick someplace likely to have flexibility regarding attendance (we have a handful or two of confirmed attendees plus some unknown number of...

[cfe-dev] [Openmp-dev] LLVM Social in Austin - Nov. 15?
...; It would be much more convenient for those of us who are in town for SC and staying downtown if we could find somewhere in walking range. (Which in my mind is 1 to 3/2 of a mile; others may have different criteria, but I find a 30 min walk refreshing after taking beer :-). > Agreed. I think bbrovers is way too far from the conference: the only reason we did the LLVM socials there in the past is that it is close by Qualcomm's offices. What I would recommend is that we choose a bar from the Rainey street a 5 minute walk from the conference: https://goo.gl/maps/yeToA5rgQH82 In my opinion it...

Web Service (server) and file_column issues
Hi there, I''m having some issues with using SOAP and file_column. The Web service I created is pretty straight forward. It gets the 5 most recently updated members from the database. Nothing too spectacular. However, the Members class uses file_column and when I try to connect to my web service I get this error: TypeError in Connect to serviceController#display_recent_updates Do

[PATCH 2/6] pci: Scan all functions when probing while running over Jailhouse
From: Jan Kiszka <jan.kiszka at siemens.com> PCI and PCIBIOS probing only scans devices at function number 0/8/16/... Subdevices (e.g. multiqueue) have function numbers which are not a multiple of 8. The simple hypervisor Jailhouse passes subdevices directly w/o providing a virtual PCI topology like KVM. As a consequence a PCI passthrough from Jailhouse to a guest will not be detected by
