Forgetting network settings
i am adding routr options with
route add -net xxx dev eth0
but when i reset computer it is not in netstat table anymore

Routing cache and the missing redirect flag
Hello,
Should "route -C" show the RTCF_REDIRECTED flag ? (0x00040000). I had
searched in the code and it seems that it should show this flag by "r".
However, I could not show this flag by "route -c " even that it
should have been there.
I have the following scenario where I have this flag set. I see it in
cat /proc/net/rt_cache but **not** in route -C.

Best Approach to a ''Down for Maintenance'' Page?
What is the best way to implement a ''Down for Maintenance'' page across
your Rails app?
Ideally I would like to have a button in my admin section that toggles
the display of a ''currently under maintenance'' page to every public
request to the app (possibly with some dynamic content like estimated
down-time)
except for: -

Samba problem
Hi,
I have a problem connecting my Windows98 to the Samba server.
The Linux computer comes up in the "Network Neighborhood" control panel,
but when I double click on the icon, W98 asks for a password for the
"\\machine name\IPC$" resource.
But my password will not me accepted. I have logged in as user "root"
with
a given password on both computers.
When I set
