questions about virtual domains and icecast
Hello there list, I have several virtual domains here such as: "hotspotandhotjamz.dyndns.org" (where I want the server and client of icecast too think they are that) "drscott.dyndns.biz" "bear@bresnan.net" and69.144.146.8. Will these happen to cause loss of audio or rought streaming when accessed? --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ icecast project homepage: http://www.icecast.org/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'icecast-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. IAX2 trunking scalability
...one behing the SDSL link. To make things consistent I've installed the same kernel, latest stable zapata + asterisk on both ends. I've done some tests with about 1/2 E1 (15 channels) worth of calls and so far it's been working good - and the call statistics (ASR, ACD, PDD) are roughtly the same. So far, so good! Now the big question is: how far can I expect it to scale? Has anybody successfully mounted IAX2 trunking with 3-4 E1s worth of traffic? Your experience and feedback is appreciated. Cheers, Jean-Michel.

add a color bar
Hi all,the code you will find at the bottom of the screen creates a 3d diagram of antenna measurements. I am adding also to this Figure a color bar,and I wanted to ask you if I can add a color bar (which package?) that will scale as the windows is maximized. My current color bar is a bit too rought and gets pixelized each time I maximize the window. Any suggestions?I would like to thank you for your replyRegardsAlex [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

Are these steps for re-installing Gnome correct/safe?
...The thing is, I don't want to throw the baby out with the bathwater. For instance, I want to make sure I don't lose settings in X, like my xorg.conf file. I just want to reset my Gnome interface back to how it was when I first installed it. I'm thinking the steps I need to take are roughtly these, but it would be great if someone could verify that these will be a non-destructive way of getting Gnome back to it's original state: 1. Stop X (By running telinit 3 at a command prompt?) 2. Use YUM to remove Gnome and KDE (#yum remove gnome kde?) 3. Use YUM to install Gnome (#yum...

Impulses
...rse impulse performance then mp3. What is the current plan on handling this? Will a smart quantizer be able to avoid it? I've been looking at various ways of taking care of this, and before I bother implimenting something I'd like to make sure that no one has gone down this path before: Roughtly vorbis currently does: input wave -> MDCT -> LPC -> LSP -> quant -> ------------------>output \->delpc->error->quant -^ What do you think of this: input wav -> DWT -> sum non-impuse factors -> iDWT -> MDCT ... ¿Reglas de estilo para código en R?
.../> * Developed since 2002. It''s version 0.9 (January 2009) * Please read this message in the introduction part before applying this coding convention. " /Please note that this document is under construction since mid October 2002 and should still be seen as a first rought draft. There is no well defined coding recommendations for the R language [1] and neither is there a de facto standard. This document will give some recommendations, which are very similar to the ones in the Java programming style [2][3], which have found to be helpful for bot...

matrix comparison, and cbind issues.
Hello, This should be a fairly simple question. I have 2 matrix's and I want to get the difference between them and then remove the difference from one of them. So A vs B, anything I see in B I want to remove from A, and then print out the final matrix. I have some code here but at the moment I'm getting stuck on the creating a matrix, cbind problems. clean <- function (A, B,

Related Info: When attempting to list files on the smbfs volumne from my Linux box, the file sizes come out as really strange numbers. For example, I have a file called 'vision_jan.zip' which I know to be roughtly 12Gig. odd assignInNamespace / setGeneric interaction
The problem is not specific to redefining the q function, but to the interaction of assignInNamespace and setGeneric. The latter requires, roughtly, that the environment of the function being replaced by an S4 generic is (or is the descendent of) the environment in which it lives. E.g., the following demonstrates the problem % R --quiet --vanilla > assignInNamespace("plot", function(x, ...) stop("No plotting allowed!&quot...

Sporadic One Way Audio
I'm having an unusual problem at one of my branch offices. Every now and then they will make a call and the person they call is unable to hear them, but they are able to hear the person. The Asterisk server has only one ethernet interface and is on the same physical network as the 2 snom 300 phones and is connected to the PSTN lines with a Rhino R4FXO-EC card. Usually hanging up and

Overdispersed poisson - negative observation
Dear R users I have been looking for functions that can deal with overdispersed poisson models. Some (one) of the observations are negative. According to actuarial literature (England & Verall, Stochastic Claims Reserving in General Insurance , Institute of Actiuaries 2002) this can be handled through the use of quasi likelihoods instead of normal likelihoods. The presence of negatives is not

self documenting workspaces, and the proper role of the dot
again I ask for some suggestions : I don't mind being told to RTFM as long as I get a few hints as to where to look <g> suppose I want to document the set of functions and vectors that I have in a workspace, and I would like to make that workspace 'self documenting' .. so I could open up that particular workspace in a few months and know what xdiff contained ..etc.

libxl drivers for libvirt?
Hey Jim, I was wondering if you or someone on your team could give me an idea what the status of libxl support is in libvirt, particularly wrt various releases? I''m asking because I''m going to UDS next week to talk about the 13.04 release, and it would be good to get Xen 4.2 in; but that in part depends on whether there will be libvirt support for 4.2 in whatever version of
