data(eurodist) and PCA ??
If I perform PCA on the 'eurodist' data, should I get an accurate

I have a complex distance matrix, and I am thinking about how to cluster
it and how to visualize the quality of the resulting clusters.
If I could 'see' the clusters in space I could

About support for AMD ROME CPUs
Hi, all
We use AMD Rome CPUs, like EPYC 7452.
RHEL said that RHEL 7.6.6 began to support these cpus(detials:
https://access.redhat.com/support/policy/amd)

works fine.
So, my questions are:
1) Is there any place that i can find the cpu support info?
2) Dose the kernel 3.10.0-957.21.3.el7.x86_64 from CentOS7.6 already

What is happening?

Using the output of strsplit
I successfully combined my data frames, and am now on my next hurdle.
I had combined the data and quarter, and used tapply to count the
entries for each unique date/quarter pair.
ar= tapply(ewrgnd$gw, list(ewrgnd$dq), sum) #for each date/quarter
combination sums the gw (which are all 1)
dq=row.names(ar)
spl=strsplit(dq)
But I need to split them back into the separate date and quarter. So I

Reading JPG files within R
Dear R-listers,
I am an enthusiastic new to R and have the following simple (. I hope .)
problem:
I am searching a function that allows to import jpg files as matrices (n
x m x 3) i.e. n_pixels x m_pixels x 3_colors.
I have seen the pixmap library, but it seems able only to read BMP
pictures (and not all them .).
Can someone give me some suggestions ?
Thank you in advance.
