sort a data frame according to roman characters
R-help,
I have a data frame with one column containing roman numbers
The data are not sorted as : I II III IV V VI VII VIII IX
X XI XII XIII XIV XV
Using data[order(data$Roman),] does not do the job.
How can this be done?
Thanks in advance.

Longer synonym for R?
[This message is not always serious, but it addresses a real problem.]
A problem with R's present name is that it is not very well suited to
search engines, although Google at least seems to cope as long as you have
sufficient other terms to filter out Toys R Us. Initials remain a problem.
I suppose "R" is just too culty to do away with, but perhaps we could come

Weird and changed as.roman() behavior
Hello,
I don't know what's changed or how to figure out why as.roman() started
to work different way lately on Mageia Cauldron. Cauldron is the
latest development version of Mageia Linux.
Expected bahavior:
> as.roman(strrep("I", 1:5))
[1] I II III IV V
Current behavior:
> as.roman(strrep("I", 1:5))
[1] I II III IV <NA>

Rails Plugin: meantime_filter for controllers (actions within blocks)
Hello, I just finished writing a plugin for Rails that I''m annoucing
the first release here: meantime_filter.
It is descibed at http://roman2k.free.fr/rails/meantime_filter/0.1.0/
rdoc/
(See the end of this message for getting it.)
ABOUT THE PLUGIN
It extends ActionController to add the functionnality of having

I got this notion
monitor-format = wav49
wav49 presents much louder than regular wav and gsm in my experience
