Fedora 6 -- can''t load wx
...nning Fedora Core 6. Here is what I have installed, but as shown below, when I try to load wx, I''m told it cannot be loaded. I get the same error when trying to run some of the sample wxruby scripts. Sorry for the newbie question, but am I missing something obvious? Thanks in advance. RMySQL, Solaris and getopt????
...k version of gcc compiler). In the RMySQL distribution, I see source code for getopt.c and getopt.h, but I don't understand what to do with them. I tried "gcc -c getopt.c -o getopt.o" but it produced a screenfull of parse errors, etc. Anyone have suggestions on what to try? Thanks, Roggie Boone

Packet error on startup
...BDrb from the git repository as it had a fix that might help. I did so (and removed the old background script that was setup by the svn version and reran the setup script).
