why no recent bind update for CentOS 6?
...lt on at the foundation level, a continually moving target.
Didn?t mean to complain TOO loudly? you guys do a great job with what you have to work with from upstream. (Not just meaning RH, but all the never-ending updates from all their upstreams. Because you know? ?software is getting better!?? ROFLMAO? 20 years of hearing that? hasn?t come true yet! GRIN!)
I certainly wouldn?t mind if my employer wasn?t too cheap to buy the real deal from RH and have all the nice patching and auditing tools, but alas? it is what it is. At least we have CentOS! Plus I?m dumb enough not to mandate it, trying to...

Ices 2.0 beta3
This is to announce the release of ices 2.0 beta 3. The source client
for streaming Ogg Vorbis to Icecast 2.
After far too much time having passed since beta 2, where many fixes and
updates have been applied, it's time to push for a full 2.0 release.
This beta is really to flush out any remaining issues, so no new
functionality is to be added until after the 2.0 release.

Time to split the list?
I hope no one gets offended by my asking, but I wonder what others think about the possibility of splitting the list into two or three focal areas. Personally, I think I''d like to see three seperate lists: 1) newbie development (e.g., help working through tutorials, etc.) 2) more advanced development topics, 3) environment setup / admin.. What do you think?
Best regards,
Bill
