Loopback connetion issue
...same problem happens.
Even pinging the loopback interface give me en error (Illegal Argument)
Connecting to the webserver or pinging domain-1 works from domain-0 and from other box of my LAN.
Have someone ever experienced this kind of problem ?
Thanks,

What goes to Hardware ?
Hi people,
As I said before: I did the IDCT to run on the FPGA.
My friends from university did the Reconstruction routines running on the FPGA.
I'm helping with the LoopFilter, and it is almost there.
(all VHDL)
I did a small profiling of the libTheora running on a Altera Stratix II device:
The processor used was the NIOS II with 8Kb of data and instruction

Hello,
just by curiosity, what is the current development
status of theora? (TODOs, etc.) Only the documentation
still left out? :-)

[LLVMdev] Question about calling convention implementation in LLVM target
Hi,
We are currently developing an LLVM target for a micro-controller,
and would like our TargetLowering::LowerCall method to emit
PUSH instructions (instead of STORE) to pass arguments (which
would improve code density for function calls).
Is there a way of keeping track of the stack pointer changes
implied by the PUSH instruction to calculate the correct
offsets in

easy to translate to use the builtins instead of inline assembly, in 6 or

allocation and additional perf. or simpler code. Maybe...).
Do not hesitate to react and give impressions, see you,

Building in a separate build tree
...b/Makefile.am" is needed
to build theora in a separate build directory.
This may be convenient to build several versions
of the library based on the same source tree, or
just to keep the source tree clean.
Note too that -I. is not needed, automake does
an implicit -I$(srcdir) IIRC.

[LLVMdev] speed up memcpy intrinsic using ARM Neon registers
I tried to speed up Dhrystone on ARM Cortex-A8 by optimizing the
memcpy intrinsic. I used the Neon load multiple instruction to move up
to 48 bytes at a time . Over 15 scalar instructions collapsed down
into these 2 Neon instructions.
fldmiad r3, {d0, d1, d2, d3, d4, d5} @ SrcLine dhrystone.c 359
fstmiad r1, {d0, d1, d2, d3, d4, d5}
It seems like this should be faster. But I did

[LLVMdev] Is lld the linker we need for our project ?
Hi,
Thanks a lot for your answer. It seems lld is still the best
solution, even if it does not work "right out of the box" for
us today.
We already have a solution for the "objcopy" part (added the
required output format to llvm-objdump).
The ScriptLayout class seems to be empty for now (on the master
branch at least), but we do not need linker scripts today.
All that is

[LLVMdev] compiler-rt's arm vfp o<= implementation
The implementation of an float ordered <= looks buggy, but maybe I'm not
reading the assembly right. This is lesf2vfp.S in compiler-rt, and it has
this code:
// extern int __lesf2vfp(float a, float b);
//
// Returns one iff a <= b and neither is NaN.
// Uses Darwin calling convention where single precision arguments are passsed
// like 32-bit ints

[LLVMdev] LLVM Development on ARM
Hi,
I am trying to natively compile LLVM on a ARM virtual machine ( which I am
running through QEMU) but getting the error as mentioned in previous mail.
VM is running ARM926 which according to ARM architecture, has vfp support.
Do some changes need to me made in LLVM distribution to make it run on ARM
platforms
Thanks

[LLVMdev] LLVM Development on ARM
Hi Kapil!
LLVM both builds and runs fine on ARM Linux.
I am running a public buildbot for the llvm project that are compiling
and testing llvm on arm-linux daily and this machine are running Ubuntu
Jaunty.
http://google1.osuosl.org:8011/builders/llvm-arm-linux
I have successfully compiled LLVM on ARM using GCC 4.3.3 on a Ubuntu
Jaunty system and GCC 4.4 on a Ubuntu Karmic system.

[LLVMdev] Is lld the linker we need for our project ?
Hi,
We are currently developing an LLVM-based compilation toolchain
for a micro-controller, but would need some advice about whether
we should use lld as linker.
So far we managed to write a basic target handler to read ELF
files generated by llc and link them (and relocations seem to
be applied correctly).
But we have target-specific requirements:
- the program will be loaded into memory as-is,
