Init.d boot scripts??
Hello,
Trying to figure out how to get dovecot to startup at boot. I saw the
Ubuntu script on the dovecot site, but that didn't work on my system (SuSe
10.2). Of course, copying the /usr/local/sbin/dovecot file into
/etc/init.d doesn't work at all. Any one have working SuSe script??

2 root disks sdb1,sdc1; if set "root=/dev/sdc1", mtab lies saying sdb1 is root!?
...never lites) , and because I have
distinct files on sdc not on sdb. If I reverse the SCSI ids on the 2 RH 7.3
disks the behavior is identical when I boot from /dev/sdc1.
What can be done to clear this up?
Please help or let me know a more appropriate place to post this.
thanks/regards;

Lots of pop3-logins
...ore often than every 5 minutes.
This is a new installation and I've had the server up and running since Sunday. If it matters, I'm using Postfix for the MTA and using the Dovecot SASL library to AUTH SMTP.
Is this a cause for concern? Why does Dovecot need this many processes?
Thanks!
