I''ve downloaded (and is currently testing with) the packages from http:// reductivelabs.com/downloads/packages/Debian/ They seem to miss some important stuff such as init scripts and puppetrun, and they hasn''t all the dependencies defined (eg. ruby). I have a machine with two swap partitions (sda2 and sda8). Both will have none as mount point. When I try to use puppet (using mount type) for managing fstab I get problems because "name" in both instances (i.e. mount path) will be "none". How should I fix this within puppet? Regards Halvard Moe

hello, i wondered if it would not be interesting to have some filters function in puppet like filter_integer(), filter_prelregex, filter_text, filter_email or such so we can validate and make our defines a little more foolproof :) i particulary see filter_regex as usefull in quite a lot of exec that manipulates text files.
