slightly overzealous RNG seeding?
Hello again,
I was testing today's SNAP (openssh-SNAP-20000830.tar.gz) in my
Solaris 2.6-8 environment, when I found some problems with the ssh2
support.
While connecting, it seeds the RNG something like 32 times! And then
once connected, it seeds again 2 or 3 times with *every* keystroke! This
makes for some slow going. This happens on all of the Solaris boxes I
tried. Binary was compiled on 2.6 against OpenSSL 0.9.5a.
Output follows:

[PATCH v2 0/6] fix hw_random stuck
When I hotunplug a busy virtio-rng device or try to access
hwrng attributes in non-smp guest, it gets stuck.
My original was pain, Rusty posted a real fix. This patchset
fixed two issue in v1, and tested by my 6+ cases.

v2:

->init() is registered by the device, instead of not calling it at all.
- virtio-rng: introduce a probe_done bool to ensure we don't ask host

[RFC PATCH 0/3] hw_random: support for delayed init randomness requests
Hello,
This series introduces a way to allow devices to contribute to initial
system randomness after a certain delay. Specifically, the virtio-rng
device can contribute initial randomness only after a successful
probe().
A delayed workqueue item is queued in the system queue to fetch this
randomness if the device indicates it's capable of contributing only
after a delay, via the new HWRNG_DELAY_READ_AT_INIT flag.
This series is intended...
