ntlm_auth to AD with only ntlmv2 enabled failing

When I have the radius server in debug mode I see the following when just
ntlmv2 is enabled on the AD side:
rad_check_password: Found Auth-Type MS-CHAP
auth: type "MS-CHAP"

of the nt4 domain. Once I changed this, it worked great. Were still in
the middle of a migration from nt4 to 2003 and all accounts still
authenticate fine.

Make sure you used the rlm_MSchap module from the snapshot, not the
rlm_chap module. They're different.

Samba and Freeradius...
...2-only' have to be added to DC(s)? To the
server that run freeradius (DC or DM)? It is not clear...
Anyway i've tried both with:
winbind_username = "%{%{mschap:User-Name}:-00}"
winbind_domain = "LNFFVG"
and i got 'password expired' (and it is not the case):
rlm_mschap (mschap): Reserved connection (1)
(19) mschap: sending authentication request user='gaio' domain='LNFFVG'
rlm_mschap (mschap): Released connection (1)
rlm_mschap (mschap): Need 4 more connections to reach 10 spares
