...h the entire thread that I found this solution.
Here is the procedure spelled out a bit more precisely.
Get the CentOS 5.2 rpms of popt, rpm, rpm-libs, rpm-python and
rpm-build. Obviously you can use most any mirror and if you are using
i386 you should replace x86_64 with i386. I prefer to use RIT since its
my Alma Mater and they seem to have good bandwidth and keep older
versions.

Here's the abstract if anyone is interested:

That's referring to a string name, and is only really important for
clarity and debugging the IR being produced. It means you could start
out with something like
[...]
%1 = add i32 %lhs, %rhs
ret i32 %1
[...]
(where the %1 is just an automatically incrementing label provided by
LLVM) then call MyAddInst.setName("theSum") and LLVM would

Samba and Active Directory Permissions
All,
I am currently running Samba 3.0.2a on a RHEL3 server. I would like
to use the extended file systems permissions through windows, but I
haven't had much luck. Here is how I am set up....
My linux box is joined to my AD domain and appears to be functioning
correctly. I also have winbind set up, and functioning, although I
still have some tweaking to do, it is assigning user and

slow to drill into directories
I have a samba server configured at a clients office and sometimes when
he is drilling down into directories in his "File Explorer" it stalls. I
tail'ed the log files and I ran tcpdump, but I can't see anything that
stands out. What should I look at? I am running Samba Version 2.2.3a-12.3
for Debian.

1- I need the first example.
2- I set the Address uninitialized according to the documentation
" Setting the name on the Value automatically updates the module's symbol
table"
from Value.h source code
3- I'm not sure about "select" instruction, you mean that the address is
the new destination (basic block)that will be added
Thanks

I tried all of those things, all kinds of combinations...
mirrors.kernel.org, mirror.rit.edu, other things
with .../centos/N/os/x86_64/ where N= 7, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2
also trying prepending http:// and https://
Nothing works.

WLS regression, lm() with weights as a matrix
Dear All,
I've been trying to run a Weighted Least Squares (WLS) regression:
Dependent variables: a 60*200 matrix (*Rit*) with 200 companies and 60 dates
for each company
Independent variables: a 60*4 matrix (*Ft*) with 4 factors and 60 dates for
each factor
Weights: a 60*200 matrix (*Wit*) with weights for 200 companies and 60 dates
for each company
The WLS regression I would like to run is:

Samba & Outlook Express
Hi to all. I'm making a samba PDC and I want that accounts and the mails
that every user have in Outlook Express will be saved on the server, so that
in every computer in the domain the user can have his mails... How to make
it? Probably it's not the correct place in which make the question but maybe
someone know the answer!
Thanks to all

I'm using Samba 3.5.6 on Debian Squeeze in ADS mode joined to a 2008R2 domain. I'm using the RID idmap backend.
Any thoughts on how I can further troubleshoot/debug this problem? Do you think that the 200 clients thing is an issue for me?
Thanks!

problem with 5.4 x86_64 DVD iso?
...l,
I downloaded the 5.4 x86_64 DVD ISO this morning (CentOS-5.4-x86_64-bin-DVD.iso). However, the md5sum and sha1sums both don't match what's in the md5sum.txt or the release notes (http://wiki.centos.org/Manuals/ReleaseNotes/CentOS5.4). I downloaded two ISOs from two different mirrors, RIT and ANL, and both ISOs have the same checksums (match each other), which are different from the published md5sums and sha1sums.
Was there a problem with the dissemination of the ISOs to the mirrors? I could understand one mirror having a problem, but two mirrors with the exact same broken image...

G729 licenses
Hi, all!!!
What will Asterisk do in the following case:
For example, we have 4 licenses, and have 4
simultaneous calls, using G729.
Will asterisk allow incoming calls from peer,
that can talk G729 and ulaw, and will it
force it somehow to use ulaw in this case?
All phones there in LAN behind Asterisk
prefer GSM codec, so it does transcoding.
So, what I mean is will Asterisk fall back

NIS Authentication Help!
Hello, I have a question that I was wondering if someone could help me
with. I am an admin at RIT and we have a large network base of Sun
machines. We do authentication via NIS over NFS. We are about to
receive a full lab of Windows boxes and need to set up a samba server to
serve users' home directories to the Windows boxes. This initial
configuration is relatively easy, but we want...
