logon script
will not execute (/usr/local/samba/map-home.bat).. If i manually run it in
MS-DOS shell
"net use g: \\gator1\netlogon /home", it will map it.
I did set chmod a+rx /usr/local/samba/map-home.bat
All I want with the map-home.bat is when a client loges in like riso,
/home/riso would be
automatically mapped to G: or something...
As you see I turned the logging to level 5 for debugging purposes.

Domain Logons
Hello,
I am new to Samba. I run FreeBSD 2.2.5-stable and Version 1.9.17p4.
I would like my FreeBSD server to act as a DOMAIN Logon. And, for example
if user riso logges in (using his FreeBSD box password) his /home/riso
should be
automatically maped to G: or something.
The error message I get is:
"You have entered an incorrect password, or access to your logon server has
been denied."
my config file is:

Network problems (Xen 4 +Debian Squeze 64bits).
Hi guys,
i have 4 Xen servers, two with Xen 3.2.1 and the other two with Xen
4. All four servers with 3 network card attached to different networks,
3 of these interfaces are bridges (configured in the
''/etc/network/interfaces'' config file, NOT in xend-config.sxp file) and
one is used for the ISCSI service, where the virtual machines are loaded.
The problem is,

Performance Problems
I've been introducing a local company to the benefits of Linux and Samba,
things have been going really well until I tried to provide some file
sharing for 3 people on the Lan.
Setup: RH 5.0 on a P5-133 running a small intranet with DHCP, file server,
and local / remote mail services
Samba 1.9.18 (not sure of patch level)
I setup a directory accessible by only 3 users and copied a 2.4Meg
