...any trouble or wanring messages. Next to nothing is running on the Linux machine. At first login, my bash PID is in the mid 40's. AFAIK no firewall is in operation: though I'd be up for confirming this. Information about the basic setup of the Linux box is here: http://members.rogers.com/riskweb3/Linux/ibm_linux_box_info.html, the only notable error is that the Linux Box uses a static IP address, outside the range of the DHCP server.
