Multicast packages dropped
Hi,
I have recently updated one of my systems from CentOs 6.4 to CentOS 6.5.
This systems is used as a RIPv2 routing server with quagga which is the termination point of some GRE tunnels.
While running CentOS 6.4 I see the multicast packages arriving at the eth0 and the GRE tunnel interface.
While running under CentOs 6.5 I can see the multicast packages arriving at the eth0 but not on the GRE tunnel int...

But I can not specify multipath algorithm, e.g. : round robin algorithm
or random algorithm.
Can anybody please suggest me correct command or

GRE tunnel problems
Hello,
Here is my network:
------------------ -------------
----------- Linux box ----------- GRE --------- Cisco ----------

What I wan to accomplish. I want ripv2 to go across (both ways) through the

No packets are being passed thought the GRE tunnel0. So first I have to fix

RIPd not announcing routes (CentOS 5.4)
...h1.124
!
line vty
!
Now, the problem is that it seems to distribute its routes (as my Cisco
network guy told me), but it does not learn the routes announced by the
(Cisco) neighbours: The speaks to a bunch of Cisco routers (which do,
among OSPF and BGP routing, redistriubution of lots of stuff via RIPv2,
which should feed my machines).
The logfile (as configured above in the config) seems okay (except a
"RIP: update timer fire!" entry every now and then):
2009/11/30 10:16:47 RIP: RIPd 0.98.6 starting: vty at 2602
2009/11/30 10:16:47 RIP: turn on eth1.123

OT: RIP settings for private netblocks
I am contemplating converting some of our internal networks from routable
to private IPv4 address space. I have a question about RIP as implemented
under Cisco IOS 12.x.
Presently the setting for rip is:
router rip
version 2
passive-interface [[FastEthernet]]0/0
network aaa.bbb.ccc.0
no auto-summary
What I would like to know is how one routes the entire 192.168/16 address
space using rip.
