How does predict() calculate prediction intervals?
For a given linear regression, I wish to find the 2-tailed t-dist
probability that Y-hat <= newly observed values. I generate prediction
intervals in predict() for plotting, but when I calculate my t-dist
probabilities, they don't agree. I have researched the issues with variance
of individual predictions and been advised to use the variance formula
below (in the code).
I presume my

An unsuccessful login occurs with the "login/domain/id" so it is appending

We are using WindowsScripting host to map the drive. Net use works every time.

OT: single measure of (group) correlation with more than two vectors?
Hello,
I have a survey in which a number of people rated a
set of items on a
1..5 scale. I believe it would be desirable to argue
that the
people's responses are correlated, and thus that the
rating task
makes sense to people.
Is there a standard approach to this? With only 2
people,
the correlation coefficient between their responses
would
be an interpretable number, (though probably

Win2K problem
Hello,
We have been having intermittent connection problems with our samba server.
We are using Windows scripting host to map the drive automatically. Below
is a snip of the beginning of a successful logon attempt.
