BUG dovecot and nginx
...o level proxy configuration for our zimbra server: [ dovecot 2.2.12 (imap proxy mode) ] V [ nginx (imap proxy mode) ] V [ zimbra imap server] and it does not work ... after tying a login, the connection just hangs and ends after 30 seconds with a timeout. - if I try again rightaway in the same dovecot connection, the login goes though without trouble. - looking at this with tshark I can see that on the second attempt, there is no capabilities query, dovecot just goes ahead and connects. if we drop nginx from the setup all is well also (login works directly as expected...

yet another ssh hanging issue.
...t because this problem happens relatively rarely. No zombie processes. One thing that confuses us is fd #5. It is a unix socket but doesn't seem to look like a connection to /dev/log. ssh doesn't seem to connect to any other unix socket except for /dev/log, but then releases the connection rightaway. We will attempt to reproduce it and narrow down the possible reasons and hopefully eventually get -v / -d output, but hope this email helps. Also if someone knows whether anything significant changed in 2.9 that would likely fix these issues, that would be cool. Otherwise I'd like to postpone...

...on my SGI IRIX 6.4 box. So far everything seems to work fine with the following exception. When I run smbsh. I think somehow the program thinks that it is operating on the system root directory (/), not the /smb/host/... Here are a few symptoms: I start smbsh (in tcsh), it first gives an error rightaway: ERROR: can't get smbw shared lock (Bad file number) (By the way this error does NOT appear when I use bash). Then it lets me cd to /smb/host/files... For example, I can use more CONFIG.SYS and it prints it on the screen, or vi or emacs on the file, and can save to this location through the...

Can't use custom package on windows 64-bit
I've been developing a package to use S3 bucket on AWS by using libs3 code. I have two problems. The first is, by standard, it will attempt to install i386 and x64 if I don't have a configure.win. The problem with this is that while everything appears to compile correctly, I get this error when trying to load the x64 library: "LoadLibrary error: %1 is not a valid Win32

domU device access : kernel problem
Hi all, I have a little question about a problem i''m experiencing with the new xen 2.0.7: I installed in on a debian box, dom0 starts with no problem, also the domains i copied over from my 2.0.6 box start rightaway BUT: i needed a custom kernel (i want to play with PCI device acces in domU) so i grabbed the 2.0.7 source and compiled the 2.6.11-domU kernel (with the standard config) and tried booting one of my 2.0.6 systems. result : debian:/mnt/temp/xen/xenU/xen-2.0/linux-2.6.11-xenU# xm create /etc/xen/my...
