Model: self is not child's parent
Assume a model Parent and another model Child. Child belongs_to Parent and Parent has_many Children. The following fails: @ p = Parent.find(:first) assert p.equal?(p.children[0].parent) @ It seems odd to me that I and my child''s parent are not the same object. In fact, this is royally screwing me up. Can anyone tell me why this is or point me at a relevant discussion, blog posting,

Strikethroughs and dashes
Who really uses strikethroughs?? This is one of the most common tripwires in RedCloth. You are the friend--the only friend--who has offered to help. Obviously em dashes. I died in -2006- wait, no, two-thousand-FIVE! Obviously strikethrough. I''m going on a trip - a long one - to the Virgin Islands. That''s got to be en dashes. Such a cheap, no-hassle, no-worry

Come Hell or High Treason
...nd "Sexat Day!" <> See it's the foot of Orion, and we're "rigging more than the vote" you'll see with some reading (and actual analysis of this message) that the "El" of Rigel and Elohim (that's the El of "him" or LOL) starts with me and it's really everyone living voting for things matters ... like "should we be tortured with mind control, terrorism and starvation in virutal reality?" and that thing begins Heaven. I want you to see,...

...SUk9RVlkdU1wDX1cNVg> Here's a bit of the beginning of the forward from the book, and some of the art that I've been working on to explain what I see and where it's coming from. While "Princess Bride" might be a strange place to come up with "rocks" hidden away in Rigel <> it connects very well with the mythological description of the "God K" and numerous attempts to succeed in disclosing that we are living in virtual reality--attempts that I see mapped in the Solar System...

Where is the returning connection?
Hi all! I''m new to the list :-) I''m having a weird problem in which I''m a little bit lost right now. I''ve got a machine (Debian) connected to 2 different networks (A and B, with 2 different net cards), and a web server that is listening on the second one (B). I think I''ve configured correctly the rules and routes, but I''m not being able to
