Running a game in full screen mode?
UT2004 runs nearly flawlessly under Wine, and is about 10,000 times easier to install than its Linux counterpart. The only problem I'm having is running it full screen. What's the command for that? For example, is it something like: $wine UT2004.exe --full-screen I know --full-screen is the right option, so which is it? (Without editing the config file, or course.) :) Thanks! Hiji

HP 560C printer
I'm trying to install an HP 560C Deskjet printer under wine. I cannot get past the "Use Windows 95 Control Panel to Add Printers" message. I have a postscript printer working well under wine but I wan the option of printing to this second printer. Can anyone offer a suggestion or maybe some HOWTO advice. Thanks, Rick Knight (rick@rlknight.com)

Unreal again
Not to take away from wine, but loki (www.loki.com) has released a patch that will install and update UT into a Linux game, where Wine, or any other package, would not be needed. I have it running and it works great! -----Original Message----- From: Richard Knight [mailto:rick_knight@rlknight.com] Sent: Tuesday, July 24, 2001 7:27 PM To: wine-users@winehq.com Subject: Re: Unreal again Where can I find the UT your speaking of? MDAC 2.7/2.8
Has anyone had any success in getting Microsoft Data Access Components 2.7 or 2.8 working? I have an application, FabTrolMRP, that looks like it will work OK on wine except that it needs to connect to an MSSQL database. Normal installation of this app on Windows boxes includes running ODBC Data Source Administrator and making an SQL connection to the FabTrol database. When I duplicate this

MDAC 2.7
Has anyone had any luck running Microsoft Data Access Components? I've been able to install it without any trouble and I can get it to run after adding NDDEAPI.DLL to the system32 folder. When I try to add a Data Source things go wrong. I can get through most of the dialogs just fine. My servers and DBs are found, password is accepted and all looks well until I try to set the default DB.

USB support
Is wine close to supporting USB? I've read some threads from several months ago regarding possible means of getting USB support in wine, but nothing recent. Any progress? Specifically, I would like to sync my iPAQ with Lotus. Any hope? Thanks, Rick Knight

No Fonts
I've just installed wine after being away from it for a while (been using Cedega and CXOffice) and after using both winecfg and Sidenet Wine to configure and install, I have no fonts in dialog boxes and on Windows buttons. I've heard of this problem before, but can't find a solution. Can anyone offer a solution? Thanks Rick Knight
