Wierd Samba permissions problem (URGENT)
...mba comes back and says the our users have no rights to create / modify / delete files on a share, even though the file system permissions seem correct and the smb.conf file looks good and the user either owns the file / directory or is listed in the group.

@ricy
That should be caused by the same bug I reported some times ago:
http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16084
Btw, as far as I know, there is no proprietary driver for intel video chipsets. Everyone is using xf86-video-intel.

Hello,
I have a bunch of Windows XP Pro machines, Samba 2.2.4, and several plotters on Jetdirect cards, and several printers on Netport 10/100 Muli-port network print servers.
I have successfully configured Samba 2.2.4 to allow Windows XP to join the domain controlled by Samba and automaticaly create its own computer account on Samba.
