MS-Office 2003 crashes when loading documents
...ndows error report. Other documents completely crashed Word/wine without even an error.
- Installed the wine repo from ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa
- Upgraded to wine1.3 and winetricks
Still unable to open documents. Now they all crash Word/wine without any errors.
- Ran winecfg and set richedit20.dll, richedit32.dll & msxml3.dll as navite (Windows)
- installed riched30 through winetricks
Attempting to open any documents results in Word crashing with a Windows error report, then trying to re-launch Word and recover the crashed document. Note that I can open and use Word by itself without any problems,...

Still trying to sort out an override problem
...lications tab, selected it, and then switched to the Libraries tab
and entered:
[AppDefaults\\\\Olb.exe\\\\DllOverrides] ; address richedit interfaces
not displaying \"riched20\" = \"native\", \"riched32\" = \"native\"
I have also added the richedit20 and richedit32 libraries as native then
builtin, but neither change seems to make a difference. Another thing I
noticed is that when I get the fixme messages the terminal seems to lock
up and never returns to the prompt.
My program file is located on Windows drive D: and I presume the
richedit libraries are...
