Using unix-type channel ....
...n("/dev/virtio-ports/org.qemu.guest_agent.0", O_RDWR | O_NONBLOCK);
ssize_t size = read(fd, &buffer, 100);

As you can imagine , I never receive any data from the host .
Is it the right way to use this "unix-type" channel ?
Thx for your patience.

ssize_t size = read(fd, &rcv_buffer, 100);
if(size >0) printf("Read length(%d) %s\n", size, rcv_buffer);
It works fine.
Is there any chance to be able to use socket stuff on Guest side or is there anything I misunderstand?
Thanks for help.

adding devices and chardev in .xml configuration file ...
...ardev socket,path=/tmp/foo,server,nowait,id=test
-device virtserialport,chardev=test,name=port.0
Is it possible to add them in the .xml configuration file of the guest , so they will be automatically added when the guest is started ?
If yes , any doc describing the syntax ?
Thx.

When adding a channel device, we need a shutdown
Hi,
It looks like , when adding a channel device, that the Guest must be powered off / on to be able to detect
the new device . ( simple reboot isn't not enough)
Is there any way to avoid this power_cycle ?
Thx.
