Unexpected timeout in rsync
Hi I am having trouble with intermittent timeouts when backing up a largish set of files from /usr using rsync. Approx 125,000 files, 2GB. Backup is to same machine, from a partition on hda to one on hdb. I am using ribs 2.1 (slightly modified to ignore rsync error 23), run with nice -n 5 via cron. (for ribs visit http://rustyparts.com/phpBB/viewforum.php?f=9 ) Typical error report is: rsync error: timeout in data send/receive (code 30) at io.c(103) rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (2613404 bytes read so f...

D4 AMI - No Caller ID
I currently have Asterisk deployed in my office with a TE411P. On the first port of this card is a T1 from the telco setup for D4 AMI. Unfortunately, I'm not receiving caller ID on inbound calls from this line. The caller ID information is arriving in the form *ANI*DNIS*. In zapata.conf, I have signalling set to em_w. The DNIS always arrives correctly, but I'm never receiving the ANI

Recommended search library?
I''m at a point where I''d like to start adding search capability to my app, so I thought I''d ask: Anyone have any recommendations for a good Rails search library/plugin/etc? There seem to be quite a few different ones out there, but I don''t have much context on any of them. What is the difference between using Ferret, or a SearchGenerator, SimpleSearch,

fixed point macros
Do the two types have a constant integer and fractional part (ie 8.8 and 16.16), or does it vary. If it varies, is there any way to figure out where the split is for a certain variable? I have tried a number of solutions but none seems to work (e.g. par.set). Can this be done when initiating the plotting device? Or is the some other way
