optimizing lm with multiple very similar RHSs
Dear list,
I would like to do something like:
# Simulate some example data
tmp <- matrix(rnorm(50), ncol=5)
colnames(tmp) <- c("y","x1","x2", "x3", "x4", "x5")
# Fit a linear model with random noise added to x5 n times
n <- 100
replicate(n, lm(y ~ x1+x2+x3+x4+I(x5+rnorm(nrow(tmp))), data=as.data.frame(tmp)))
I am wondering

"upstream" Storage Server fully OSS?
...source?
Are the RPMs to build one already in the Centos repo? If not, are there
any plans to offer them?
I am looking for something free to use in Haiti, that will offer redundant
file storage and automatic failover to a second set of hardware in case of
a failure of the primary hardware.
If RHSS is not available or suitable, other suggestions welcome. I need a
file system/server with:
* primary function is serving MP3 files for playback in a radio station
environment in Haiti
* if the system goes down all your clients (listeners) know it
* they know it NOW
* they know ho...

About CentOS Storage SIG and RedHat Storage Server 3.0
Hi all,
Does someone from CentOS Storage SIG can say something about this
subject? Is it planned to accomplish some RHSS 3 rebuild for CentOS
6.5??
Thanks.

follow-up on qr.coef bug (PR#8478)
The bug I submitted yesterday (It's not entered in the bug data base, so
I have no ID for it) included a suggested fix that
is not correct. It worked for the examples I gave because there was no
pivoting in fact, or only pivot permutations that were
idempotent. A correction that works in general on the examples I gave
makes these two changes in qr.coef():
## coef[qr$pivot, ]

kvm cluster w/ c6
In our development lab, I am installing 4 new servers, that I want to
use for hosting KVM. each server will have its own direct attached
raid. I'd love to be able to 'pool' this storage, but over gigE, I
probably shouldn't even try.
most of the VM's will be running CentOS 5 and 6, some of the VM's will
be postgresql database dev/test servers, others will be
