FLAC downloads available for new album produced by Trent Reznor
Sorry, I'm sure it's terribly offtopic, but thought it was extremely interesting that the new album[1] by Saul Williams, produced by Trent Reznor, is available for download for 5 bucks. It's nice to see FLAC getting some respect! ;) [1] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Inevitable_Rise_and_Liberation_of_NiggyTardust! -- avuton -- Anyone who quotes me in their sig is an idiot. -- Rusty Russell.

Extract to WAV, do a hex dump, and look for repeated 0x00 bytes. Someone on the hydrogenaudio forums did that, reported it on the NIN forums, and Reznor got the reissued 24/96 FLAC'd and seeded on tracker.nin.com in a couple of days. > 16-bit audio samples stored in a 24-bit file format. need help with compiling openssh
hi, I'm trying to compile OpenSSH, latest version on my Linux box. I know that it requires openssl and I've installed the 0.9.5a and it's working just fine. Now when I'm trying to ./configure the openssh with the options ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/bin/openssh/ --without-pam --without-shadow --with-tcp-wrappers It's giving me checking for openssl directory... configure:

I did some more experiments and also saw the problems. They occur when using a 0.9.6-beta client to connect to 0.9.5a and 0.9.6-beta servers. Compile error with 1.1rc6
I'm trying a very basic ./configure; make of v1.1rc6 under Mac OS X 10.5.3. I have previously installed v1.1rc5 with no problems (although I was running OS X 10.5.2 at the time). Machine is an Intel based Mac Mini running on an Journaled HFS+ partition. When I attempt the make I am running into: <snip> gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../.. -I../../src/lib -I../../src/lib- mail
