Is there anyone out there who has installed FreeBSD on the above Sony laptop ? Both ''cat filename > /dev/dsp0.0'' or ''vlc cdda:///dev/acd0@1 are OK. If I run ''cdcontrol -f /dev/acd0 play'', there is no sound. But the output of ''cdcontrol -f /dev/acd0 status audio'' is alright. (same behaviour for cd0 instead of acd0) And the output

Hi, I was very pleased to have downloaded the icecast2 from the web, but while going thru the instructions as in the README things are not going right for me. I am doing this on a Redhat 8.0 linux box... the <p>./configure make make install the first one doent work, could you please guide me thru ob how to be able to appreciate this tool.
