only the first ResetCDR works after upgrade to 1.6
Hello -
I am upgrading from asterisk v1.2 to v1.6 and I am seeing a problem with
recording CDRs using MySQL. Unlike all of the other postings and web
pages I have found on this issue, my installation successfully stores
the -first- CDR, but nothing after that.
As background info, I will note that I don't use CDRs for billing, but
more in a logging fashion, to record how a given call

[PATCH] [v3] ddrescue mapfile filter
This allows to overlay bad sectors according to the mapfile generated by
ddrescue, to then see where sectors are used using fsck and trying to
copy files around.
Should now be mature enough to be useful to someone else.
And we have a proper test also.

Further nbdkit patches for Haiku
François, thanks for the patches so far.
This morning I pushed:
https://github.com/libguestfs/nbdkit/commit/e26fb6cea3fdba13b5472daf6767e76abacd8d03
build: add missing #include "byte-swapping.h"
https://github.com/libguestfs/nbdkit/commit/b962272a561bfed087316d24b7d510e4ab29a985
build: more fallbacks for mkostemp
The iconv patch makes iconv a requirement. I don't know

For the tmpdir patch, I changed plugins/example3/example3.c to a
simpler patch which

[PATCH] tests: Fix shebang tests on FreeBSD.
On FreeBSD we cannot go through the shell script (./nbdkit). Instead
replace the path with a direct link to both the nbdkit binary and
locally compiled plugin.
Note this does not go through valgrinding when you run
‘make check-valgrind’ so that needs to be fixed at some point in the
future.
Thanks: François Revol and Eric Blake.

ANNOUNCE: nbdkit 1.8 - an NBD server toolkit with stable plugin API and permissive license
I’m pleased to announce the next stable release of nbdkit.

for creating NBD servers.
The key features are:
* Multithreaded NBD server written in C with good performance.

Plan for nbdkit 1.8
I would really like to release a new stable nbdkit (1.8) soon.
The reasons are not only because of the many great new features (which
I summarise below) but also a few practical reasons:
- Dropping mandatory [key=].. (ie. "magic config key") for many plugin
parameters makes nbdkit much easier to use and easier to describe to
potential users.
- Demonstrated utility of log filter

[fdo] Haiku - FreeDesktop.org cooperation proposal
From: Haiku - http://www.haiku-os.org/about
To: FreeDesktop.org
GNU/Linux has gained quite some momentum on the desktop, with the help
of Gnome and KDE environments, and the FreeDesktop.org project.
Haiku is a Free Software (BSD/MIT) desktop targeted operating system,
designed to present a coherent and simple to use environment, inspired
by BeOS.
Although Haiku does not use X11, it provides

rsync ported to BeOS-bone
Hello, here is a preliminary patch allowing rsync 2.5.6
to compile in BeOS (using the new BONE networking stack).
Some explanations:
- BeOS doesn't have chroot(),
- the BONE networking stack export legacy network function
for old apps in libnet.so (linked to by default), so it's
necessary to force linking to the new libraries for things
to work. I've yet to get inet_ntop() to be
