hi all, on centos 5 - I could trim the number of mingetty's running by editing /etc/inittab on centos 6 there are none in the /etc/inittab file but it reverences /etc/init/tty.conf. I dont see in there how to control how many mingetty's get started. Where is that? THanks, Jerry

Hi Everyone, I have a very long list of data-points (+2300) and i know from my histogram that there are outliers which are affecting my mean. I was wondering if anyone on here knows a way i can quickly get R to calculate and remove data which is 3 standard deviations from the mean?
