package for /usr/lib64/R/library/tkrplot/libs/tkrplot.so
Hi,
'revdep-rebuild' under GENTOO shows me
that /usr/lib64/R/library/tkrplot/libs/tkrplot.so, which was installed
at April 24th, is broken.
'ldd /usr/lib64/R/library/tkrplot/libs/tkrplot.so' shows me that
tkrplot.so needs libtcl8.4.so and libtk8.4.so, which is no more
installed since the installation of tcl,tk-8.5.7, which has happened at
april 26th.
But revdep-rebuild can't

...ckages I have identified are:
- actuar
- quanteda
- optmatch
- rlang
- saeRobust
- Sim.DiffProc
- sugrrants
- texmex
Some of these fail with the environment set to 'error' but not to
'none', so they are getting a value from somewhere else that may or
may not be right.
Affected as revdeps of optmatch:
- cobalt
- htetree
- jointVIP
- MatchIt
- PCAmatchR
- rcbalance
- rcbsubset
- RItools
- stratamatch
Affected as revdeps of texmex:
- lax
- mobirep

Wrong JPEG version?
Lately, when I attempted to run some of my apps, they crashed with the following output.
Code:
Wrong JPEG library version: library is 62, caller expects 70
I run Gentoo Linux X64. A search for the appropriate package gives this:
Code:

Error when loading optimx package and a solution
...ious OS updates or resets when the long term support
runs out.
Some updates and minor extensions to optimx, mostly convenience features or
checks that dependencies available, are on the github version, which is a bit
ahead of CRAN (https://github.com/nashjc/optimx). I find doing all the checks
and revdeps for the package now getting heavy enough that it is worth waiting
a bit unless there's a critical bug, which I don't think there has been for
a long while.
I don't have a Mac, and am currently away from home (actually in Nice, FR for
a couple of weeks), but would be interested in knowi...

Behavior of --install-tests and testInstalledPackage
Hello,
I'm writing a script that automates the testing of reverse dependencies of a package. I found the function testInstalledPackage in the tools package, which seems to do what I want. However, when I use it for a source package that was installed with --install-tests, I've noticed that only the actual test files (e.g. located in inst/tests) are available and run. In other words the

Devtools 0.7

The aim of `devtools` is to make your life as a package developer

Devtools is opinionated about how to do package development, and

Mouse Cursor drifts in some directx games
Hello,
I am currently attempting to run some windows games through wine, specifically Fable - The Lost Chapters and The Elder Scrolls III - Morrowind and I am experiencing problems with my cursor drifting during game play.
When I start the game (as soon as the menu screen) the mouse is initially stable, but after I move the mouse it will begin to drift vertically down at a constant speed

Dear R-help members
Since this morning (5/2/2025), I get an error when I try to load optimx

Unable to start LXC on Gentoo w/ libvirt 1.0.4 or 1.0.5. 1.0.3 works
Hello.
I use libvirtd on my Gentoo development system to manage both QEMU and
LXC. When 1.0.3 came out, I updated to it from 1.0.3-r2, but 1.0.4 failed
to start my LXC containers. I did not research the issue at the time, so I
revert to 1.0.3-r2. Today I updated to 1.0.5 and my LXC containers still
fail to start. I have not changed my domain XML at all.
I am looking for suggestions on

Marek,
Thanks for the detailed report! Can I trouble you to file a bug
at http://oss.oracle.com/bugzilla ... oh, is that your report
http://oss.oracle.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1339?
This looks like a deadlock of some sort. I don't think your
hardware configuration really matters here. We'll keep looking into it.
