PostgreSQL user database
...tion needed in the user database is held in more
than one table. But it seems to me that dovecot expects to get all the
information for mailbox, uid, gid and home in _one_ query. Is there a
way to get around this? Maybe even getting some of this information by
another way than pgsql (this is more a rethorical question, since I
have this information in the DB, but sometimes it is useful to get,
for example the location of the mailbox by another way than the uid
and gid).
But my primary question is if I can set these fields in different
queries.

Missing EL4 glibc update
Seeing upstream has an update for glibc
http://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2009-0052.html
I rebuilt the glibc-2.3.4-2.41.el4_7.1.src.rpm and
it produced the following rpms :-
glibc-2.3.4-2.41.el4_7.1.i386.rpm
glibc-common-2.3.4-2.41.el4_7.1.i386.rpm
glibc-debuginfo-2.3.4-2.41.el4_7.1.i386.rpm
glibc-debuginfo-common-2.3.4-2.41.el4_7.1.i386.rpm

Question about permutation test
Hi!
I am doing a permutation test on 7 data randomly selected into two groups,
one has 4 and the other 3. The purpose is to list all the 35 possible
outcomes and calculate p-value. I googled the function perm.test() and not
sure if my usage is correct. So I set a=c(7 data), b=(1,1,1,1,2,2,2) which
represents the group. Then I use the function pt=perm.test(a,b...). There's
a p-value popped

[PATCH v2 2/3] drm/ttm: introduce dma cache sync helpers
...nded that way - I wasn't suggesting that we carry on
with this clearly illegal usage of the DMA API, but was merely noting
that if we were to implement the intended behavior on our side it
would look just like what the ARM implementation currently does. My
question about alternatives wasn't rethorical, I am not so familiar
with this part of the system (as should be obvious by now) and would
like to know whether there aren't other solutions that would spare us
the need to re-implement something that already exists.

NT_STATUS_INTERNAL_DB_CORRUPTION messages in log.samba--proper course of action?
Hi all,
We've recently migrated from a separate DNS server that was dynamically
updated with BIND's update-policy, using a manually generated
tkey-gssapi-keytab (plus a second server functioning as an ordinary
slave to the first), to BIND9_DLZ. The setup predated Samba's AD DC
support and BIND's DLZ support, and was originally established because
even though we needed AD, we were
