When Rails speed matters
....g. using 4 mongrels in cluster can serve 4 users at
time only. I created similar test app in java and found the very big
speed difference. Java app running on Jboss is multithreaded and can
serve many users simultaneously but rails app(running one mongrel) is
single threaded. When application responsivness is low the difference
is very big when app is accessing by many users.
Is there any other way how to increase responsivness of such application
on Rails?

[Bug 74195] New: Responsivity to input with vsync on is slower after update

Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
Status: NEW
Version: git
Component: Driver/nouveau
Product: xorg

however it's called) got much worse, mostly noticable when moving windows or
scrolling. With kernel 3.13 the windows are 3-5 frames behind mouse when
moving, on 3.9 kernel they were only 0-1 frames behind. I also tried kwin, wich
had less noticable slowdown (from 1-...

[Fwd: Weft - a free open-source QDA tool]
Hi
Just released a first version of the WxRuby project I''ve been working
on. Firstly, I wanted to say thanks to everyone on this list who''s
helped at various points over the past year - every time I ran into a
problem someone jumped in with advice.
A very brief explanation of the app - I''m a sociologist/anthropologist
by trade, and the app is intended for use in
