This couldn't possibly be icecast's fault - icecast itself doesn't,
and can't, do any processing of audio.

ices2 "crashes" respectivley produces hissing
Hello list!
I've recently installed icecast2 and ices2 on my Debian Sarge box, to
stream some musik for my local network. Basically, it just runs fine,
using my soundcard / ALSA as audio source. Unfortunately, there is one
BIG problem: after a certain amount of time (varies, can be a few
minutes up to an hour or so), ices2 just "crashes", thus producing a
terrible noise on the

hist for two sets
A quick question, please.
x = c(0.0001, 0.0059, 0.0855, 0.9082)
y = c(0.54, 0.813, 0.379, 0.35)
where A = 1st set, B = 2nd set, C = 3rd set, D = 4th set respectivley.
How do you make hist plot side by side for x & y?
i.e. 0.0001 and then to the right 0.54, 0.0059 and then to the right 0.813,
etc.
thx much

Roxygen: question regarding 'use.Rd2' and creation of DESCRIPTION
...s for parts of the Rd-files, no matter how it is
specified. Setting it FALSE works for all non-S4 defs, setting it TRUE works
for all S4-defs ('works' in the sense of ending up with non-empty \title{}
in the Rd-files). However, both types of defs are in 'pkg/man' or 'pkg/R',
respectivley.
I implemented a workaround in which each of the four scripts is addressed
separately by package.skeleton() and roxygenize(). The resulting Rd-files
are stored in temp dirs (e.g. 'pkg/tmp_classes', 'pgk/tmp_functions' etc.)
and are merged to 'pkg/man' at the very end of th...

color specific(!) lines in different color with in parcoord plots
...to their (row- or even column-)position.
I tried something like
library(MASS)
parcoord(table[,c(1,2)], col = c("green", "yellow"))
but as I figure out, the colors of the lines/points plotted, alternate, meaning all points referring to uneven rownumbers are colord in green and respectivley all even rownumbers in yellow. Same with three or more colors; it just continously goes through the vector of colors, right?
Acoordingly, my questions concerns on how the plot function uses col and if there is any way to "manipulate".
I looked up the api of plot and matplot, but I was no...
