reslov.conf on two DC's
So in my ears it makes sense to add this to the wiki for joining a domain as a DC. I will add it soon.

reslov.conf on two DC's
It would be nice to know what IPs the DCs have.
BTW: I updated the wiki:

reslov.conf on two DC's
When running two DC's is the recommended practice for the first DC to
resolve to itself, like this:
first DC /etc/resolv.conf file:
search samdom.tld
nameserver [DC1 ip address]
nameserver 127.0.0.1
And on second DC to both DC1 and DC2, like this:
search samdom.tld
nameserver [DC1 ip address]
nameserver [DC2 ip address]
nameserver 127.0.0.1
Or is the incorrect?

Internal Network Routing
Hi,
I have a dial up box (1.4) and another as an dns server.
The default route on 1.4 is for the dial out for the other
hosts. If I want to establish an connection (http) from
the dialout box I can''t establish it (Network unreachable).
The other hosts are configured with an default gateway
192.168.1.4 and have no such problems.

identify MUA connecting?
Hello I am using dovecot 1.2.15 on ubuntu.
Is it possible to somehow log the MUA information that is connecting to
Dovecot?
The reason I am wanting to do this is I would like to know if people are
getting their email on personal devices instead of work secured /
standardized phones.

Button order issues
Hi there,
I'm trying to get gtk-window-decorator to respect metacity's button_layout
gconf key, and basing my work on a patch posted on the forums a while back:
http://forum.go-compiz.org/viewtopic.php?p=1306&highlight=#1306
The patch works perfectly by itself against compiz 0.3.4, but against 0.3.6,
it results in no buttons or titlebar text being drawn in the window
decoration.

Hi,
I'm currently working on evalutating a AD-Domain for my Department. Since I have a couple of year experince in running a NT-Style Domain, my choice is samba - nowadays AD-DS.
Now I'm stuck, and I would really appreciate some more thoughts and a push in the right direction. :-)
Thank your in advance
