...or creating prepared disk image 'fs:xfs' on 'test1.img': failed to create filesystem (xfs): mkfs: xfs: /dev/sda1: mkfs.xfs: No such file or directory
does I need to rebuild the iniramfs to include mkfs.xfs, is this the root reason that cause the different numbers ?
then I used virt-rescure method , the filesystem type was ext2/ext3:

confusing samba log entries
Hello,
I'm having some trouble using Samba to backup my PC with Lenovo's Rescue and Restore. In the course of analysing potential causes of the problem, I noticed in my Samba server's log (pertaining to my client PC) several "can't do this" or "can't do that" messages. Specifically, here are the messages that appear constantly:

Best practice preparing for disk restoring system
...t tool is new to me but looks very interesting!

Yes, indeed. Up to now, I have very good experience with that. Setup new
server. Create "rear" backup on USB, nfs-share or more secure via
sshfs. Destroy Raid, Create new Raid. boot from rescure image. type
"rear recover". DONE. All that in less than 10 minutes.

centos Installation on Multiple machines
Hi,
I want to install customized centos on multiple systems. Can PXE boot do
that ?
Apart from this is there any other way of doing image copy of centos OS
and installing it on several client machines through network. I used
clonezilla, but after image cloning, i will again have to use the
clonezilla LIVE CD on client machine to do a image restore.
I want to make a clone of centos OS and
