My fist unsuccessful attempt was from the mirror
http://cran.uk.r-project.org (29th August update)
I noticed that the CRAN site was more upto-date so my second failed attempt
was (from changed rescources.list) to--
http://cran.r-project.org (1st September update)
I received the identical messages (quoted above) in both cases.
I also noticed,later, that 'synaptic' would not allow me to select
"r-base" alone and its icon was not dark green as I expected; having
successful...

mount point
hello...everybody...
i have a question about mount point ...
if i want to separate the streaming by category, let say i want to play an
english category song.
Then what should i do is just go to http://putera-trg.kustem/english and
the song plays.
if i want to play rock category songs, then just go to
http://putera-trg.kustem/rock and the
songs play.
This is about a mount point but i still not

Hello List!
When our users logon to their M$-NT4 or NT2K Clients they get notified about
their space usage on their home-rescources.
This is achieved by a perl script which is triggered by the "root preexec"
option in smb.conf.
My problem now is to find out, why this "root preexec" thinks it also should
act as a "root postexec":
