Move from roaming to local profiles
We are migrating all of our users from the current domain to a new one we created. In this process we are moving them from roaming profiles to local. What would be the best practice to accomplish this? I can find plenty of writeups on how to do the opposite. Also we will be doing some extra folder redirection. Hi all, I've decided to completely replace an old AD with a fresh, brand new one - the only thing linking the two is that I've transferred the user profiles & home folders over to the new one and I'm testing this configuration by disconnecting one of the Windows 10 computers from the old AD and then connecting it to the new AD. Louis, Followed your instructions so far. Take a look at the output of the various steps. I'm down to removing items form /etc/ufw. I'm not sure what I should delete. I know some of the files are backups generated after some rules were deleted.
