Time series, least squares line
...ed for Refractive index. They are
daily standards, however, I didn't run one everyday so some days have no
data. I can plot the values, but the x-axis does not represent the correct
time series (i.e. it's just an evenly spaced 1,2,3 type axis). I want to
plot the points with some form of representitive date line on the x-axis. I
don't think the ts() function will work in this instance as I have missing
data.
Once I have that data, I want to plot a least squares line with 95%
confidence interval bands. Can anyone help with this??
Thanks in advance.

''Agile Web Development'' book
I just started to learn RoR because I need to create a relatively simple
but important application due next month.
The Shopping cart app in this book is going ok but I have a question.
Is the complexity of the shopping cart example in this book
representitive of a real world application?
Note that i am not saying if the application is production quality, I
mean the ''complexity'' of the applications.

Help with 'switch' mode
..., it would seem like I should set eth0 on
both tinc boxes to 0.0.0.0 and set the bridge running on each to the
10.3.x.1 IPs. Would I also set the tinc-created tun/tap virtual
interface to 0.0.0.0 as well?
Any hints, pointers to more in-depth resources (if the bridging document
isn't the most representitive of all of the available options).

Yes.

If it doesn't work the first time, just try out different things to get
a feeling for it.

sendmail and rbl blocking - generating statistics
I have enabled the feature in sendmail.mc to check with spamhaus for
spammers. However since this block is being made at MTA level, I would
like to know is something can be done to obtain statistics of blocked
attemps.
thanks

Mental Block with PCA of multivariate time series!
Please could someone point me in the right direction as I appear to be
having a total mental block with fairly basic PCA problem!
I have a large dataframe where rows represent independent
observations and columns are variables. I am wanting to perform PCA
sequentially on blocks of nrows at a time and produce a graphical output
of the loadings for the first 2 EOFs for each variable.
I'm sure
