MySQL repositores
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Are there any repositories for CentOS 5.5 that keep the latest MySQL versions? After enabling everything I can think off (CentOS, rpmforge, epel), I'm still only seeing 5.0.77-4.el5_5.4. 5.5 came out yesterday and 5.1 has been around for a while. I don't want to manually install from the mysql site for obvious reasons. Russ -----BEGIN PGP

Which repositores?
Hello all I'm new to RHEL/CentOS so I'm wondering what repositories people add/enable to get all the extras they want? Especially multimedia stuff. I tried to enable [contrib] but that didn't seem to be available (yet). I then added rpmforge and atrpms which seem to work. However I've read that atrpms may wreak havoc on my installation; is it best to keep it disabled? What about

transfer to Microsoft Distributed File Service
Hi, list: Usually, "//server_name/share" is passed to smbclient to do a transfer. However, in case of filing repositores using MS DFS, can smbclient be passed "//domain_name/dfs_share/share_link"? I guess not. Looking forward to clarification, Xu Qiang

Thanks to Duncan, Henrik and Henrik, Brian, and G?bor: ????? I created a local copy of the new GitHub version using the following: git clone https://sbgraves237:mypassword at github.com/sbgraves237/Ecdat.git ????? That worked in the sense that I got a local copy.? However, after I rolled the version number and did "git commit" on the DESCRIPTION files, my "git push"

How to view djvu files?
Greetings to everyone! On Fedora I used to use djvulibre package for djvu files, but I cannot seem to find this in any CentOS repositores out there. Google also does not help, nor searching list archives. :-( I have found the .rpm file for RHEL 4, but when I tried to install it (hoping that it just might work) rpm refused to install with the error: file /usr/share/mimelnk/image/x-djvu.desktop

New Help Site - cut down on Mailing List questions
This is a re-post as it was pointed out that I replied to a different thread instead of creating a new post. Sorry for the additional traffic. Mike Dear All, I understand the excitement surrounding a service like Asterisk, and how easy it is to jump in and ask a heap of questions. I also know how frustrating it can be dealing with a 200+ post per day mailing list as one of the question

Hi, Ott et al.: ????? What's the best way to get "Travis CI" to build and test the two packages, Ecdat and Ecfun, that have long been combined in the Ecdat project? ????? Following Ott's advice and studying studying Wickham's "R Packages" (http://r-pkgs.had.co.nz/), I was able to configure RStudio so it would sync using git with

Apparently your username/password are wrong. Can you clone/push from other repos? You do not need authorization when cloning a public repo, so even incorrect credentials may work (haven't tested this though). But for push you have to have that in order. I suggest you create ssh keys, upload those to GH, and use ssh authorization instead of https. Cheers, Ott On Fri, Jun 28, 2019 at 8:18

Problems setting up Ali USB controller
Hi. Im faced with a little problem when trying to give an Ali USB 2.0 controller to a guest system: when i try to start my domu, it says that the backend device could not be found. Im using Debian etch both as dom0 and as domU. Im using the standard binary installation from the Debian etch repositority tree (kernel, hypervisor, ...). Im running xen 3.0.3-1 and both use a 2.6.18 kernel. In Dom0, the Ali-controller works (ive tested it). DomU also boots perfectly. Now i did the following: i added a parameter to my /boot/grub/menu.list which makes the important line look like the following: kern...

Apparently you created id_rsa key pair with a passphrase. Passphrase is like an additional password protection layer on your ssh key. I don't know how did you create it. But you can always create a new one (you should delete the old one before you create a new one) using the shell command 'ssh-keygen'. It asks for a passphrase, just push enter for an empty passphrase (twice). You

????? Thanks so much for your help. ????? Now your "git push -u origin master" was "![rejected]", after creating a new SSH and after your "git clone" and other "git remote rename ..." commands seemed to work: $ git clone git at github.com:joshuaulrich/tmp-ecfun.git Ecdat # Cloning into 'Ecdat'...<snip> done. $ cd Ecdat/ $ git remote
