Hi, I have a use case where the puppet server changes entries in the puppet agent''s puppet.conf to redirect agents to a new server. It changes server=NEW_SERVER, environment_NEW_ENV, and reportserver=NEW_SERVER in the puppet.conf file on the next puppetrun call (with --listen option), the agent uses the new values for reportserver and environment, but still connects to the old server. service restart seems to be the only way to reload this config param.
