Mails repopping
HI
I don't know if this is a dovecot issue or a client one. But as Dovecot is the most recent change, I'll start here.
I have a server that's been running Courier for about 6 years and in all that time I think I've only ever had 1 issues where an entire mail box was repopped by a webmail client. However, since moving to a new server and dovecot 4 weeks ago, I've now had the

POP UIDL
Hi
I run a small mail server with Dovecot and postfix. Several of the accounts are popped by an external email provide I use, mostly out habit and also for a bit of redundancy. I have no details on that external server except that it uses exim.
Lately, it's been repopping mail from accounts (mail is left on the server so I can use IMAP) at fairly frequent, but undetermined, intervals. Before

...ten results in needing additional
dependencies to build those, etc.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alice,
Thanks much for trying. Your observation was the same as mine. I installed the above
dependencies without a problem, they were all in the repops. After I installed them it
still failed to compile with the final result being the errors that I posted earlier.
I am not wanting to convert these desktops to Fedora 29, but at least I have a path for
what is needed.
If any of the other users on the list have ideas of what has happened to Centos...

Attempting to build this way is next to pointless and will likely show
you errors completely unrelated to why the package won't properly build.
