R commands from a text file ?
Hello I was wondering if it was possible to enter R commands from an external text file. If it is possible, it will be easy for repetetive tasks. Does anyone have an idea ? thanks in advance Ahmet Temiz TURKEY ______________________________________ ______________________________________ The views and opinions expressed in this e-mail message are ...{{dropped}}

SATA devices not added/probed from ICH7 sata300 controller, FreeBSD7.0, 7.1beta, 8.0 Daily
...issue is that although the sata controller is > apparently detected correctly (It shows up by name in dmesg) the > devices attached to it do not show up when running 'atacontrol list'. > There are no errors produced on a normal boot, but booting in verbose > mode produces a few repetetive messages that may be telling, although > I am unable to decipher them. First and foremost: I can assure you the ICH7 works fine on FreeBSD, because all of our production servers use it. Of course, they are not Shuttle systems. You didn't provide any detail of what hardware you have hoo...

Any ideas for the most efficient algoritm to reshuffle tiles based on this description.
This was exactracted from a 8192x4 texture, with 32x4 tiles. 4 patterns appears, each 8x128 bytes long. these patterns are repeated, and one is always left out. So 123, 234, 134, 124. The repetetive cycle is therefore 4x3x8x128 = 12288 bytes long. I've included the color code ods file, which contains the normal -> actual position. I have no idea how this goes for larger tiles (is the process applied to the large tiles or always to the small ones?). Maarten. -------------- next par...

Debugging Bug 5253: How to find who owns address space range?
I am trying to debug a wine crash I am having when using GDI rendering for Starcraft BNet (Bug 5253). This bug does not happen in OpenGL mode, but my purpose is to understand the source of the bug and not to workaround it. (Bug link: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5253) The crash is in some unrolled memcpy loop that writes to screen memory, and as the bug description says, crashes after

#include not working with *1.0.9
We are running * V1.0.9 on a demo box. We have set up everything in our dialplan and we have a directory where we store individual extension settings. That directory is called "extensions-phones.d" and it contains a number of .conf files. In my extensions.conf file I have put a #include "extensions-phones.d/*.conf" in my [globals] context If we reload and restart *, and

Please warn a home user against OpenSolaris under VirtualBox under WinXP ; )
Pardon in advance my n00b ignorance. (Yes I have googled a lot before asking.) I am considering VirtualBoxing away one physical machine at home, and running WinXP as host (yes, as atrocious it may seem, explanation below [1]) and OpenSolaris guest as file server, with OpenSolaris (why?[2]) having raw access to all my SATA drives. (OSes on the IDE channel). This is for home use, as a media

Intermittent ext3 corruption on external firewire Micronet 1.5Tb RAID on FC3
Hi I have a Firewire connected Micronet 1.5TB RAID with a single large ext3 filesystem on one partition on a dual Xeon system. I am checking out from an extremely large cvs repository (don't ask) to this drive over the course of many days, and intermittently I get bad blocks and the filesystem goes read-only. This is not related to any power failure or anything similar. The RAID is currently
