lme4_0.995-2/Matrix_0.995-4 upgrade introduces error messages (change management)
I'll address two issues. The first is today's error message and the other is change management for contributed packages on CRAN. TODAY'S ERROR MESSAGE I switched from the 0.995-1 versions of lme4 and Matrix to those referenced in the subject line this afternoon. Prior to using these packages on anything else, I applied them to code that 'worked' (provided numerical results

MFA variables graph, filtered by separate.analyses
Hi! Apologies if this is not the correct place to ask. I am attempting a MFA analysis of a dataset based on wine chemical and sensory analysis, based on the STHDA tutorial [1]. (I am using this dataset here too, as an example dataset to work on without posting my actual data. I've tried this with both my data and the example data, with the exact same results.) The only issue I am having is

Fwd: A default profile
Hi, I am not using roaming profiles, but there is a feature in NT 4 where you store a 'Default User' profile under the C:\winnt\system32\repel\import\scripts\. When a user logins into the Doman for the first time, they get a copy of that profile. I have tried having a copy of the same profile to both the netlogon share and the profiles share on my Samba PDC but the profile does not get

MFA variables graph, filtered by separate.analyses
Hi Gavin, I can't work through this right now, but I would start by looking at the 'hetcor' package to get the correlations, or if they are already in the return object, build a plot from these. geom_edge & color
Hi, this seems to work (assuming that your problem was the setting of colours...): --- snip --- network %>% ggraph(., layout = "auto") + # This produces an error... # geom_edge_arc(curvature=0.3, aes(width=(E(network)$weight/10), color=c("darkblue", "red")[as.factor(edge_list$relationship)], alpha=0.5)) + # ... this works :-)

About the google-invisibility of this list
...t;Sysinux 6 will not boot", i only got to a search engine (or whatever) called "marshut". Not a single link to a message in www.syslinux.org/archives. The same for the title texts of the other longish threads of november 2013. The source of 2013-November/thread.html looks not overly repelling for search robots. HTML ... HEAD ... META NAME="robots" CONTENT="noindex, follow" should lead them to the messages. Nevertheless this seems not to be usual in mailing list archives. So i made an experiment: http://scdbackup.webframe.org/syslinux_2013_11.html is a copy of 2013-...

Dear community I am using ggraph to plot a network analysis. See part 2 in the working example. Besides different colors for different groups of nodes: --> geom_node_point(aes(size = V(network)$hub_score*200, color= as.factor(V(network)$community))) I additionally want to consider different colors for different edge groups The grouping is defined in the edge_list$relationship: negative

Logistic Regression Coding Help
Hello. I am beginning to analyze my work and have realized that a simple chi-square analysis will not suffice for my research, with one notable reason is that data are not discrete.  Since my data fit the assumptions of a logistic regression, I am moving forward with this analysis.  With that said, I am a beginner with R and would grealty appreciate any help!  Essentially, the point of my work

[LLVMdev] RFC: [PATCH] parallel loop metadata
Hello all, Thanks for the comments. Attached is a new version with Tobias' and Sebastian's (final?) comments addressed. Any further comments are appreciated. Nadav suggested a request for comments in llvmdev before committing it. In order to describe the current idea of the parallel loop metadata, I think it's easiest to just copy-paste the documentation I wrote for this patch so

Re: BUG: Forum driving away experienced users
Trouble is if you split the list into newbies and non-newbies the people the other Alan despises so much won't think of themselves as newbies. As a relative newbie myself I find it hard to swallow some of the near-elitist attitude shown by some experts, calling someone who isn't as experienced as you a noob is just plain insulting. I hope when those people learn something new they

The reason html is specifically advised against as a format is that it does things like mangling data such as is happening in your example. You should repost using settings on you mail client for plain-text. Your code should start by loading necessary packages. You should also not post screen output versions of code since that will insert lots of superfluous "+"'s. Some but not
