Hey all, I have moved 10_Linux to 50_Linux and ran update-grub which is fine. The problem I have is that there is xen-syms in /boot And that is being put first in the boot list which is incorrect. Morning, I am sitting with a slight problem at the moment my situation is : I have a machine running Linux( Mandrake ) with Samba on and another with Win '98. I have a shared drive on my Win '98 machine. The Linux machine can see the shared drive and can write files to it. ...table. We saw the problem with IRIX 5.2 and samba 1.9.16p11 and IRIX 6.2 and samba 1.9.17.p4 . Has anybody seen this problem before? ...the share again, we got error messages that the a file or directory is no longer available. Going back to the root of the share solves this problem. I can create debug log files etc, can somebody who implemented dfs on samba please email me. We are running samba 2.06 on HP/UX 11.00. I have a powerpoint file on a samba share. If I access this powerpoint file on a NT 4 system, the time stamp of the powerpoint file gets changed, even when nothing of the file is changed. Does anybody know how to solve this problem, Regards,
