[Cellar] FLAC Markdown
...the flac_markdown repository and Andrew addressed them in https://github.com/privatezero/flac_markdown/pull/7. Most of these issues pertain to unintended semantic differences between the FLAC specification as it exists in its original HTML form at https://xiph.org/flac/format.html and the markdown rendition being worked on at https://github.com/privatezero/flac_markdown/blob/master/flac.md. Since the recent work focuses on a change of format from HTML to markdown, I suggest that short term goals on the flac specification focus on: - verifying semantic equalness with the html version - resolving is...

So maybe the quest is about changing the link style from the nut-website renditions to the book's PDF, so it would by default open in the same tab? Currently commuting so can't say more at the moment. How to make an OSX Finder in rails/AJAX?
I need to make a category browser that would allow nested categories. Is there any receipe on that? Currently, I use the :onchange event from one of the form element to update the first select (out of 4-5 selects), but I dont know how to elegantly reset all the child selects if I change the value from the first. All the categories are fetched from the DB and I would like a

Help with Non-model classes
...lan to put in to those assignments each week. Because this is effectively a weekly calendar, I created the idea of a week as a range of dates. In my original version, I had a weeks table in my database and the start and end dates of all my time sensitive objects were week_id. In the second rendition, I still had my weeks table but everything date sensitive used a date, rather than an ID. This means that I don''t have to have a Week model, only a simple class. My problem is that I''m not 100% sure where to put the class, how to include it in my app, and how to set up...

Rails 2.0.2 + RJS
Hi I had ajax commenting on my app, which worked perfectly on Rails v1.2.6, but does not work the same in Rails 2.02. Basically the comment gets added, but the visual effects do not work (ie lines 2 + 3 of create.rjs) create.js page.insert_html :bottom, ''comments'', :partial => ''comment'' page.visual_effect :appear, "comment_#{@comment.id}"

PSARC 2009/571: ZFS deduplication properties
I haven''t seen any mention of it in this forum yet, so FWIW you might be interested in the details of ZFS deduplication mentioned in this recently-filed case. Case log: http://arc.opensolaris.org/caselog/PSARC/2009/571/ Discussion: http://www.opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=115507 Very nice -- I like the interaction with "copies", and (like a few others) I think

What do you think about this motherboard?
Hello all..... I would like to know if anyone here has had good experience with this Supermicro motherboard.....http://supermicro.com/products/motherboard/P4/E7221/P8SCT.cfm I am thinking about using it in an entry level mail and file server with a 3ware card and 200 GB SATA drives. Cost is a factor here otherwise I would go for an Opteron board instead. JC
