Posix warning : Access to ... is crossing device
I have a distributed/replicated setup with Glusterfs 3.0.2, that I'm
testing on 4 servers, each with access to /mnt/gluster (which consists
of all directories /mnt/data01 - data24) on each server. I'm using
configs I built from volgen, but every time I access a file (via an
'ls -l') for the first time, I get all of these messages in my logs on
each server:

Unix connections not always disconnecting
Hi
We are using asterisk 1.8.23.1
We have a script that runs on a minute cron which polls the asterisk server
for 3 bits of information by using
asterisk -rx 'command'
which then gets pushed to a graphite server we have
99% of this runs smoothly.
Every now and again, the asterisk service will become completely
unresponsive and if we look at the logs we will see the following:

Gluster "Peer Rejected"
Hello All,
I have 8 servers.?
7 of the 8 say that gbe02 is in state State: Peer Rejected (Connected).
gbe08 says it is connected to the other?7? but they are all State: Peer Rejected
(Connected)
So it would appear that gbe02 is out of sync with the group.
I triggered a manual self heal by doing a the recommended ./find on a gluster
mount.
I'm stuck... I cannot find ANY docs on this

Filename completion and relative problems
Hi all,
after upgrading from 2.0.10rc1 to 3.1.7, filename completion on glusterfs
filesystem stopped working. We could live without that, but a more serious
problem appears, which is IMHO related to the same missing(?) feature.
When the WWW browser (firefox) is configured to ask the user, where to
save downloaded files, it crashes immediately after displaying the
dialog window. This is a problem

Here's the failing tests for rc2 on SLES11.3 (glibc 2.11, libstdc++4.7).

Remote Desktop Users Group not working??
Hi
My next try is to create the group myself, but the point here was that the Builtin group created by the provisioning of Samba, doesn't work...

problem with setting outbound caller id when calling another asterisk
I have an asterisk box at a remote location (which I will call remote),
which registers to my local asterisk box (I'll call that one local), and
uses that to route calls to the outside world. The problem I am having
is that the remote location needs to lie about it's callerid sometimes,
however if I set a callerid that matches the extension of another peer
that exists,

Does "--link-dest" option supports link to remote backup server?
Hello everyone:
I keeps using rsync to backup my files on my laptop from one folder to
another, and to reduce disk usage, so I use "--link-dest" option for
incremental backup like this:
*rsync -a --link-dest=/local/old /tmp/myfile /local/new*
And "/local/old" is backuped some days ago, I use "--link-dest" option to
keep unchanged files as links to new destination

Suggestion for -G option for remote ports to be forwarded, analogous to -g option for local ports (-L) to be forwarded.
When forwarding local ports with -L these ports can be made accessible
to the local net with the -g option.
For remote ports, forwarded with -R this option does not apply. It would
be nice to have a -G option which does the same on the remote machine
for the remote net, depending on the remote users rights.
On the server site it should be configurable, on which
networks/addresses the forwarded

OT: Cloning llvm repo over low speed connection != fun
I remember reading all those examples about how a big repo isn't an
issue and when sitting at some ${LOCATION} I have 1010101010Gbps and
it takes like 30 seconds.. Well.. that may be true when I'm at home,
but I'm not.. and this laptop doesn't have llvm sources installed..
So real world feedback of the pita it can be..
/* Side rant - I wish I didn't even need the llvm sources.

This is happening about once every 5 seconds or so. How do I figure
