dataframes of unequal size
I have two dataframes C and C1. Each has three columns viz. state, psu
and weight. The dataframes are of unequal size i.e. C1 could be
2/25/50 rows and C has 42000 rows. C1 is the master table i.e.
C1$state, C1$psu and C1$weight are never the same. ThisA. P., Urban, 0
is not so for C.
For example
C
state, psu,weight
A. P., Urban, 0
Mah., Rural, 0
W.B., Rural,0
Ass., Rural,0
M. P., Urban,0

Another sharing tehnique, is this possible ?
hi,
(assume HTB)
I was thinking will it be possible to do some sort of UNFAIR-SHARING :"), what I have in mind :
Say I have a internet link with 100kbits bandwith, then I want to share it between many clients (which will increase over time). Let''s i start with 5 clients with rate = 30kbits...
See the total bandwith of users is 120kbits but I have only 100kbits.... So where is the

Nested for loop
Hi! Thanks for taking the time to read this.
The code below creates a graph that takes 100 samples that are between 5%
and 15% of the population (400).
What I'd like to do, however, is add two other sections to the graph. It
would look something like this:
from 1-100 samples take 100 samples that are between 5% and 15% of the
population (400). From 101-200 take 100 samples that are between

'trim' means discard?
Currently we cannot support discard on block storage since ovirt may need
to wipe
lvs when deleting a disk, and discarding may leave unwiped user data.

OT - SIP MESSAGE, newline chars and formatting
Hi,
I'm using a SIP phone (Thomson ST2030) which is able to display text
received though Asterisk's SendText() application.
I'm using this to display from Asterisk "Forwarded to 0123456789" whenever a
user forwards his calls to another number or extension.
Test is displayed with white letters on black background.
What I can't do at the moment is erasing this

Nested for loop
Hi Kirsten,
I can run your example code but I can't quite follow your division of sampling. Can you restate the the task? Below is what I think you are asking for, but I have the feeling I may be off the mark.
Set A: 400 samples, draw 100 in range of 5 to 15
Set B: 800 samples, draw 100 in range of 5 to 15
Set C: 300 samples, draw 100 in range of 5 to 15

Nested for loop
Hi Ben,
That's exactly right! Except for each set it's the sample population that
is 400, 800 or 300. I want to take 3 samples, each of 100, where only the
population differs. I can do this separately, but I'm having trouble
putting them all on the same graph.
I'd like to have sample on the x axis (1-300) and estimate on the y axis. I
want to show how population affects the

python bindings to libtheora
Hi,
in the past two days I wrote Python bindings to libtheora:
http://github.com/certik/python-theora
Currently it can read any ogv file (that seems to work quite well) and
also encode to ogv (this mostly works, but there are some subtle
issues to be fixed, I suspect I still have some bug in the way I half
the dimensions of the Cb and Cr planes, so when you read ogv and write
ogv, the resulting

Nested for loop
Hi Caitlin and Ben,
Thanks for your responses! My issue is that I'd like to create one
continuous line, rather than 3 lines overlayed.
The code I've attached works for a population of 400 and samples 100 times.
I'd like to extend this to 300 samples and 3 populations. So, the x-axis
would range from 0-300 samples.
What I'm having trouble with is finding a way to change the

zfs eradication
Hi,
I was discussing the common practice of disk eradication used by many firms for security. I was thinking this may be a useful feature of ZFS to have an option to eradicate data as its removed, meaning after the last reference/snapshot is done and a block is freed, then write the eradication patterns back to the removed blocks.
By any chance, has this been discussed or considered before?

Query regarding initramfs
Hi
1. Is it possible to load an initrd from initramfs ?
How would you do this if the initramfs is being loaded dynamically in
the kernel
(ie having the initramfs as initrd )
Because in this case, you will say root = /dev/initrd and specify 'initrd'
as your 'initramfs source file'
How will you specify the second initrd source?
Thanks
Rachita.

[PATCH 0/6] Remove all bad dp_mst_port uses and hide struct def
So we don't ever have to worry about drivers touching drm_dp_mst_port
structs without verifying them and crashing again.
Lyude Paul (6):
drm/dp_mst: Add drm_dp_get_payload_info()
drm/nouveau: Use drm_dp_get_payload_info() for getting payload/vcpi
drm/nouveau: Stop reading port->mgr in nv50_mstc_get_modes()
