tagged 0.0.37; release plans
Hi I just tagged 0.0.37 in Subversion. I also added a note on the Wiki on how to do this, and how to checkout a clean version: http://wxruby.rubyforge.org/wiki/wiki.pl?Release_HowTo For the build, I''m just about to upload a tarball, and will add a powerpc gem once the compiler''s chugged away. Please upload for your platform as you''re ready. I suggest we announce to wxruby-users now, as a ''friendly'' list to pick up any problems....

0.0.37 release goals
Hi Could we set some release goals for 0.0.37? I suggest we release sooner rather than later to put the various little build problems behind us. So my only high-priority item for 0.037 at the moment is to port Scintilla to Linux and OS X. I will gladly accept other feature, bugfix and doc patches. Anything else we''d like to be sure to do? alex

I have loaded data into a ListCtrl and set things up so that if I click on a column heading on_col_left_click(event) gets called and it in turn sorts / reverses the sort of that column. I am printing out the data for debugging purposes so I know that my internal data representation is getting sorted but I nothing is getting

Wx::Scintilla class not defined
I''m posting this for a friend who is having trouble with this and here is his message. "Heya! I''m working on a script editor application, but it''s missing one key feature: Syntax highlighting. Seeing this, I looked around in the sample directory and came across scintilla.rb. I attempted a run, however Ruby reported Wxruby2::Scintilla as an uninitialized

find_window_by_xxx doesn''t find Gauge or BitmapButton
I''m fairly new to the Ruby world, particularly WxRuby, so please forgive me if this is ground that''s been covered in the past. I''m trying to load a frame from an XRC file (created using DialogBlocks), and I''m having trouble getting an instance of the Gauge object using the Wx::Window.find_window_by_xxx methods. I''m trying this on Windows XP,

Hello Everyone
I have a bit of a problem with installation. I installed wxX11 in my linux box. I compiled the demos and all the demos, save dbbrowse, work. I think I have a functional wx. Now I''m trying to install wxRuby from source, since I have a 64 bit machine. I only have permission to my home directory so my installation is : /usr/people/stevenq/Applications/wxX11/
