how to reinit an own repo after adding files?
Hallo, I try to use my own repo. The problem: The repo is working when using it while installing a fresh system using pxe and kickstart. When changing the content and rebuilding the repo new packages are not found. My question: What is the right way to reinit a repo complete? I tried several hints I found in the web but new packages are never found. Thanks Ralf Von meinem iPad gesendet

how to reinit an own repo after adding files?
Please, could you share more information about this issue (the steps how to reproduce would be perfect)? There was a similar bug filed on Fedora/dnf but without reliable reporoducer yet - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1750152. Feel free to add a comment with the reproducer to this bug and re-open it or file a new one if your issue looks different. Marek -- Marek Blaha <mblaha at

Terminal emulation and serial ports
I have to reinit a firewall that can only be done from its console port, and I do not have an XP system with Hyperterminal on it. So I went through the archive and learned that minicom could do the job for me. I installed it and went to configure it (minicom -s). I can set the speeds, but the challenge is selecting the serial device. I have a Serial-to-USB dongle, and when I connect it,

domain reinitalization detection
Hello I'm trying to find out how to detect if domain was destroyed and brought up between two time moments, let's call it reads. So far the best approach I could find is to compare domain ID from previous and current read. And this is my first question : is that reliable solution ? Or do you know any better ? And related question is how to resolve virDomainPtr into domain ID ? The

Plugin mail-filter tangles
System installed : Dovecot 2.2.12 as IMAP server and Postfix as MTA. Dovecot and Postfix connected via LMTP + Dovecot mail plugin 'mail-filter' to encrypt/decrypt emails on the fly with public/private users' RSA keys. Case study : You have 3 (virtuals) users belonging to 3 different domains, all managed by your Dovecot server. One of these users is connected to Dovecot with MUA

ATA DMA issues - are there problems lurking in 7.1?
Greetings, I have several Tyan S2518UGN (Thunder LE-T) server boards that I've been running for a few yrs. I've always used the SCSI on them, so never really used the ATA ports. I once experimented dual-booting NT2003 & FBSD on one of the ATA ports about a year ago. But ran into the problem I'm running into now. Back then I just blamed it on the drive (even tho it was brand new,

[RFC v4 04/12] drm/vblank: Add vblank works
Add some kind of vblank workers. The interface is similar to regular delayed works, and is mostly based off kthread_work. It allows for scheduling delayed works that execute once a particular vblank sequence has passed. It also allows for accurate flushing of scheduled vblank works - in that flushing waits for both the vblank sequence and job execution to complete, or for the work to get cancelled

samba (2.2.8a) driver download fails
Hi there, I have a problem with the rpc driver stuff: I have copied the driver files to //atlas/print$/W32X86 and WIN40 (via filesystem copy), added and set the driver without errors. But getdriver reports no driver associatet with the printer?! So reports below. I am sure, this was working on this system. I tried to reinit the ntprinters.tdb, printing.tdb, nt_forms.tdb and ntdrivers.tdb by

LLVM Fatal Error Handling
Now, at least in release 3.7.1, on an encounter with a fatal error at the time of compiling a module it will call an installed handler function and allow the application to log the error etc. However once said handler returns LLVM will force an exit of 0x1, something that I cant allow to ever occur, but according to the ErrorHandling header I cant safely throw an exception to back out of the error

call a method once per page request
Hi, I''m wondering if there is a simple solution to call a method once per page request. I tried to place my call in a before_filter in ApplicationController but it''d called a second time if I use render_component from a view. Seems to me that a hook should be added in Dispatcher#prepare_application. Context: working on i18n, I''m trying to check lang either from uri,
